Her Side: Well (pours glass of wine) I just got back from Thailand and the brewery I worked at on the weekends - Back Bay Brewing Co., asked me to pick up a shift the night after I got back. I thought yeah sure I'll be jetlagged and up late anyways. It was a music event that night and we were slammed. Except for when Ryan & his buddy, Griff, walked in - cliché I know but it's true! Anywho, Ryan walks up and asks for a beer recommendation, lingers (lol), and then heads upstairs. Two minutes later he comes back down and I think, "oh great he doesn't like the beer I poured" - to my surprise he came down to ask if I was single, for my number and to take me out on a date. The next week, we went on our first date to Pelon's Baja Grill on Friday night and our second date just 24 hours after. From there, we were inseparable... I may have tried to play hard to get for a little bit, but really I just couldn't believe I found my forever person. His side: Heheh...it was a bit quieter at the downstairs taproom than I had expected as my buddy, Griff, and I walked into Back Bay. I had only been once before and WHOA who is this working behind the bar I thought to myself. I immediately noticed Ash's glowing smile, but I thought I better play this cool. Griff and I ordered a beer, and I asked Asha a few questions, yes to figure out what kind of beer - but more importantly, is this beautiful bartender single? After asking "so, do you just bartend?" or something equally embarrassing, Asha reassured me she was the motivated, intelligent and (thankfully) humorously-forgiving human-being she is. We briefly connected over her work with Operation Smile, and after asking her for her digits I made sure she called me 'cuz I wasn't about to let this one go easy. From there, we truly were inseparable and despite multiple failed attempts of asking her to be my girlfriend, she finally came to the conclusion that I was worth taking a chance on. The rest is history and here we are!
