Our venue is closest to the Sunrise Entrance of the park. We recommend heading there early to guarantee parking. If you are arriving and exploring before our event, please note that timed entry permits are needed to enter the park until September 2nd and front-country camp sites fills up very quickly. There are other access points to the park to explore as well at Mowich Lake, Longmire, and Ohanapecosh. Our Favorite Hikes: Burroughs Trail, Fremont Lookout, Grove of the Patriarchs
A Seattle-area staple! Check out this local burger joint that Ryan has enjoyed since childhood! The closest one is in Federal Way but there are locations throughout Seattle. Our Favorite Order: Dick's Special, Cheeseburger, Chocolate Shake
If you're looking for great views with minimal hiking, check out Crystal Mt Resort Gondola. A ski resort in the winter, Crystal Mountain keeps the gondola running year round for people to experience views of Mt Rainier. There's snacks and beverages at the top as well, though we recommend bringing your own due to the price point! Fun Fact: Alisha has run a Ragnar Trail Relay event at this spot 7 times with a group of co-workers, Ryan joined the team one year as well!
Fun museum featuring permanent and travelling exhibits and live demos of the on-site glass blowing studio. Great place to hang out if the weather turns. Fun Fact: Ryan and Alisha recently checked this place out as a rainy-day date spot! There's lots of food and brewery options nearby.
