Alejandra and Ryan first met at a Christmas party in Lubbock in 2021. Ryan had recently transferred to Texas Tech University to study Finance after playing football at Drake University, while Alejandra was a sophomore studying Engineering. From the very beginning, there was an instant connection and spark between them. After a little playful back-and-forth, they officially started dating in the summer of 2022 - and have been inseparable ever since. Their relationship is special because of how perfectly they complement and support each other’s ambitions and dreams. Alejandra encourages Ryan to dream bigger, while Ryan keeps Alejandra grounded and focused. Through the years, Alejandra has embraced all things football and sports betting, while Ryan has fully embraced all things pink and sass. Their friendly competitiveness turns even the simplest tasks into fun challenges. Whether cooking together (with Ryan doing the cooking and cleaning, and Alejandra giving direction and critiques) or cheering on their favorite teams, their days are full of laughter, energy, and teamwork. Above all, they always choose each other and keep the Lord at the forefront of their relationship. One memorable adventure happened in spring 2023, when Ryan’s car broke down in Boerne, Texas, just outside San Antonio, while returning from a visit to Alejandra’s parents. That little mishap became the start of a spring break tradition, and in March 2025, Ryan turned that familiar stop into a lifelong memory by proposing in San Antonio. Alejandra and Ryan are excited for their future together - building a life filled with love, laughter, adventures with their Great Dane, Hank, and furthering the Lord’s kingdom together.
