Where should I fly into?

What is covered by my contribution?

Answer

In an effort to make this a relaxing and stress free trip for you, your contribution prior to the wedding will cover your room and board at the villa, all meals while at the villa, alcohol, drinks, and transportation to and from the airport. The only additional money you may want to bring with you would be to cover any purchases you choose to make in the town.

Great question - As weddings require planning, travel, and a pretty penny regardless, our hope is that both your and our contribution to this trip / wedding results in more than just a singular day of celebration, but many days with lifelong memories made.

What is the weather like in August in Italy?

Answer

August in Passignano sul Trasimeno is hot, dry and sunny. Temperatures typically average around 86 degrees during the day, and 61 degrees in the evening.

What should I pack?

Answer

- For your electronics, having a type C plug adapter is recommended to allow you to easily charge your devices while on vacation. These can be found by a simple google search or on common buying platforms such as Amazon by searching "type C travel plug adapter" or "European travel plug adapter" - Light and airy clothing is encouraged as we will be visiting during the hotter summer months. -Bring a bathing suit! The villa has a pool. -Sunscreen and sun hats are recommended.

Do I need to know Italian?

Answer

While having a basic understanding of simple phrases such as please (Per favore), thank you (Grazie), and good morning (Buongiorno) is appreciated anywhere, it is not necessary to know Italian for this trip. The venue hosts speak English and are very accustomed to having English speaking guests.

Where do I send my money to cover my stay?

Answer
