Enjoy live music while walking around the San Francisco Botanical gardens. This is one of favorite events in the city, and it runs until Sunday, September 21st.
These are our favorite croissants in the world! We always stop at Arsicault when we are biking to/from Marin County, north of San Francisco.
Dear San Francisco is a unique aerial theatrical show in one of our favorite neighborhoods--North Beach. We've been at least 12 times!
The Buena Vista Cafe opened in 1916, and is *the* spot for Irish Coffees in the US. You can also watch cable cars come and go at the end of the line.
One of our favorite restaurants in San Francisco, and a staple in the city for over 25 years.
Explore the 4th floor city park in the heart of downtown. We also enjoy going to Andytown Coffee adjacent to the park or Barebottle Brewing in the middle of the park.
Bernal Hill is our neighborhood park, just up the street from our house. Enjoy city and ocean views on a short hike around the hill!
The Ferry Building is one of San Francisco's iconic buildings in the heart of downtown. Enjoy the farmers' market, bites and shops on a Saturday morning.
Golden Gate Park has everything from endless trails and gardens, museums, and even Bison roaming around near Ocean Beach! We recommend the De Young Observatory Tower, Dahlia Garden, and the Botanical Gardens for Flower Piano.
Dolores Park has one of the best views of the city from the top. This is the place to be on the weekends in the Mission District, especially if it's sunny! Grab a burrito from any of the taquerias nearby (and maybe some cerveza too) and bring it here to enjoy!
If you want to do a hike but don't want to venture outside the city, look no further than the Lands End Trail! This is an awesome way to get views the Golden Gate Bridge, Pacific Ocean, and the Marin Headlands. It's a 4 mile round trip hike, and has some sandy and uneven ground, so we'd recommend wearing sneakers or hiking sandals.
One of favorite taquerias in the heart of the Mission District!
The #1 best pizza in San Francisco, and ranked #19 in top pizzerias in the world! Located in San Francisco's Little Italy (North Beach), we love coming here whenever we have visitors in town.
This is one of our favorite neighborhoods in SF, and where we first lived together. Take a walk along streets lined with Victorian and Queen Anne homes from Duboce Park up to Alamo Square (to see the Painted Ladies and city views).
