When and where is the wedding?

Our wedding celebration will take place on Sunday, April 11th, 2027, in Delray Beach, Florida — exactly 13 years to the day we met! The ceremony and reception will be held at Seagate Country Club, with events throughout the weekend at The Seagate Hotel & Beach Club, our host property.

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding weekend will feature several events with different vibes. We’ll outline attire for each (ceremony, welcome party, brunch, etc.) on the “Our Weekend Celebrations” page.

What’s the weather like in April?

Answer

Delray Beach in April is warm and breezy — daytime highs around 80°F, evenings in the low 70s. Light fabrics work beautifully, but bring a layer for outdoor evenings.

When should I arrive and leave?

Answer

We’d love for everyone to make a weekend of it! Ideally, plan to arrive by Friday afternoon (April 9th) and stay through Monday morning (April 12th) if you can. There will be events and casual gatherings throughout the weekend.

Our host hotel is The Seagate Hotel & Beach Club in Delray Beach. We will have a room block available — details and booking info are on the “Getting Here & Staying With Us” page.

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

If you’re staying at or near The Seagate, you won’t need one! Delray is walkable, and most venues are close together. Rideshare apps are widely available for quick trips. Along with FreeBee the free downtown shuttle!

What airport should I fly into?

Palm Beach International (PBI) – 30 minutes north Fort Lauderdale (FLL) – 45 minutes south

Can we bring our children?

Answer

We love your little ones, but this will be an adults-only weekend, with the exception of a few family members. Children are welcome to attend the ceremony, but the reception will be 21+ so everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We completely understand that some guests may be traveling with young children, so please use your discretion when deciding what works best for your family. To make things easier, we’ll be providing childcare and babysitting services at The Seagate on the evening of the wedding. More details will be shared closer to the date.

If your invitation is addressed to you and a guest, then yes — please RSVP for both of you. If not, we’d love to celebrate with just you!

We have a wonderful weekend of events planned and can’t wait to celebrate with all of you! Welcome Drinks (Friday) – A casual get-together to mix, mingle, and ease into the weekend. Beach Day (Saturday) – A relaxed afternoon on the sand at The Seagate Beach Club. Birthday Toast for Kyle (Saturday Evening) – Join us in The Seagate’s Lobby Bar for a celebratory toast! Wedding Day (Sunday) – Our ceremony and reception at The Seagate Golf Club. Farewell Brunch (Monday) – A casual, bagel-style sendoff for anyone still in town. Full details, times, and attire recommendations will be updated on the “Our Weekend Celebrations” page as we get closer to the date.

You can RSVP directly through this website once save-the-dates go out. Please respond by [date TBD] so we can finalize our headcount.

A mix! The ceremony and some festivities will be outdoors, weather permitting. Receptions and meals will have covered or indoor spaces.
