Denver International Airport

The easiest airport to fly in/out of is Denver International Airport (DEN). There is a shuttle (Groome) that provides transportation directly from the airport to Fort Collins, as well as multiple car rental options. There is an airport in Cheyenne Wyoming that is a similar distance to Fort Collins (about an hour drive), however flights here are often more expensive and also more likely to be delayed and cancelled due to the small size of the airport, and shuttle service is more difficult to obtain.

Getting to Fort Collins

- There is a shuttle bus (Groome Transportation) from the Denver airport to Fort Collins, with drop off locations at many of the hotels as well as downtown. Click the "view" link below to go to their website. - There are also several rental car companies located at the airport - Uber and Lyft are also reasonable options, especially if sharing a ride

For location convenience we recommend looking for a place on the North side of town, close to either Old Town or City Park. These do tend to book up quickly in the summer however, so book early if you find a place you are interested in.
