If this is your first time at an all-inclusive resort, here are a few tips to help you prepare: Everything is (Mostly) Included: Your meals, drinks, and most activities are covered! However, things like spa treatments, motorized water sports, or "premium" wine lists usually have an extra fee. The Tipping Culture: While the resort is all-inclusive, it is common practice to give a small tip ($1–$5 USD) to your bartenders, servers, shuttle drivers, and housekeeping staff. Bringing a stack of small US bills is very helpful so you avoid conversion fees at the ATM machines! Reservations Matter: Some specialty restaurants require a reservation. We recommend checking with the concierge or the resort app as soon as you arrive to book your preferred nights. Room Safe: There is a secure, safe in the room -Use it! It’s the safest place for your passport, extra cash, and jewelry while you’re out of the room. Orientation: The resort will provide a full orientation for guests at check in. It's a great way to find the best bars, the quietest pools, and where to get fresh towels! Getting Around: The resort is a HUGE and there is a trolley (golf cart) available to transport guests across the property as needed.

We have a few surprises waiting for everyone upon arrival to help keep you cool and hydrated, so you can leave the bulky reusable cups and handheld fans at home! To make the trip as smooth as possible for those heading to a resort for the first time - we’ve put together a guide of other recommended items to pack: The Essentials: - Travel Documents: Passport, flight info, and a copy of your travel insurance. - Medications: Bring all prescriptions in their original bottles, plus a small travel pharmacy (Tylenol, Imodium, antacids, and Band-Aids). For the Sun & Water: - Swimsuits: Pack more than one so you always have a dry one available - Reef-Safe Sunscreen - Wide-Brimmed Hat - Comfortable and breathable clothing - Sandals and Comfortable sneakers/shoes for walking For the Evenings: - Light Layers: Even in Jamaica, the restaurants can have the AC turned up high.
