The FREE Summit Stage shuttle is a convenient and hassle-free way to travel between Breckenridge and Frisco. It picks up passengers at the Breckenridge Station, located at 150 Watson Avenue, right at the base of the gondola. The Frisco shuttle stop is conveniently located right behind Outer Range Brewery (our event venue). We highly recommend using this service, so you can relax and enjoy the event without worrying about transportation. For more information on shuttle schedules or pick-up locations, don’t hesitate to reach out!
Friday (Cabin Juice): F Lot (off of S. Park Ave) is free after 3pm MT, or there's always parking on Main Street. Saturday (Outer Range Brewery): Plenty of free parking! There is a large lot adjacent to the building.
In early August, the weather in Breckenridge is typically mild and pleasant, with summer temperatures ranging from the mid-60s to mid-70s °F during the day (the dry heat + proximity to the sun makes this feel like perfect summer weather). Nights can be cooler, with temperatures dropping into the 40s or low 50s °F. Though it’s generally sunny, summer thunderstorms can occur in the afternoons, so it’s a good idea to prepare for possible rain showers. The higher elevation of Breckenridge (about 9,600 ft) means temperatures can fluctuate, and it’s always wise to bring layers to stay comfortable.
Friday: This event will be Semi-Casual Saturday: This event will be Dressy Casual (Western Optional) - Think hats, boots, elevated denim, bolo ties, sundresses, and laid-back yet polished western-inspired attire. If you don't own western wear, that is okay! Wedding casual is just fine for this. We recommend you bring a jacket, as it can get chilly at night!
As much as we love your children and babies, our reception party will be an adults-only event. We hope you understand and that you'll still be able to join us!
We are happy to offer gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options for all the food being served at the events to accommodate all dietary preferences and needs. Please let us know if you have any specific dietary restrictions or concerns, and we’ll make sure you’re taken care of!
1. Acclimate Gradually - Avoid strenuous activities during the first 24 hours at high altitude to allow the body time to adjust. If possible, guests are encouraged to arrive at least 1-2 days before the party to give their bodies time to adjust to the higher altitude. 2. Stay Hydrated - please, please, please DRINK WATER! We'll have plenty of water available to you. A rule of thumb = one glass of water per alcoholic drink. You'll thank us later! 3. Medication - If guests are concerned about altitude sickness, they can consult with their healthcare provider ahead of time. Some people benefit from medications like acetazolamide (Diamox) to help prevent or treat symptoms. 4. Portable Oxygen - Some hotels or rental properties in high-altitude locations may provide oxygen tanks or portable oxygen devices for guests who may experience mild altitude sickness. It can be helpful for easing breathing and headaches.
We will not be having a photographer for our reception day, so PLEASE take photos and share with us! We would love to be able to re-live our special day through the eyes of our guests.
