- ABOUT THE WEEKEND - We will be having a small, private ceremony on Thursday, 07/31 in Breckenridge, CO, but will be hosting a larger reception party on Saturday 08/02 to celebrate our marriage with everyone. We will also be having a 'welcome party' on Friday 08/01 to say hello to all of our guests traveling in for the weekend. We deeply understand that a destination wedding is an enormous ask of our guests. We hope that if you choose to join us, you'll view this as an opportunity to relax and vacation in the mountains - a place where we find so much joy, peace, and have created so many beautiful memories together. - LIVE MUSIC IS OUR LOVE LANGUAGE - Erika and Kyle first met at a CAAMP show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in July of 2021. Although minimal conversation was shared that night, Kyle left the show asking his friends, "who was that blonde girl?". A couple of weeks later, Erika and Kyle were both invited by their friends (Kirby and Trevor - shoutout to the matchmakers) to go tubing down the Platte River to enjoy a hot summer day. After a fun day on the water, dancing in the rain at Denver Beer Co, and playing darts on Kirby & Trevor’s rooftop, Kyle asked Erika for her number and they loosely kept in touch for the next few months. Kyle originally had plans to return back to Maine, but decided there was something (or maybeeee someone?) important in Colorado and he decided to move back to Denver. Erika realized that she couldn’t resist the red-head mullet & mustache combo, and they soon after started dating. Erika and Kyle currently live in Denver with their sweet pups, Zeus & Zoe, and enjoy live music and all of the outdoor activities on the weekends - camping, hiking, skiing, biking, and more. In July of 2024, Kyle proposed on a hike in Rocky Mountain National Park at Emerald Lake. After scaling back down the mountain, Kyle said ‘I’m not sure you actually answered ‘yes’, but they both knew the answer was the easiest ‘yes’ of all time. They can't wait to create more memories together doing the things they love in the years to come.
