Wedding Party

Meet our friends and family who are helping us walk down the aisle.

Isabella (Ibby) Russell

Bride

Most likely to: cry first during the vows Hogwarts house: Ravenclaw Hi, I'm the bride! Just in case you don't know me very well yet, here are some fun facts about me: I'm an Aquarius. I have two younger brothers named William and Wyatt. I am a psychology graduate from CSU Channel Islands. I have two adorable cats named Chumpkins and Neptune who are brother and sister. I love all things Harry Potter. I enjoy crafting, painting, and sewing in my free time. I like listening to podcasts and watching tv shows about true crime.

Ryan Daley

Groom

Most likely to: sneak off to play video games before the ceremony Hogwarts house: Hufflepuff If Ibby's the bride, I suppose that makes me the groom. For those who don't really know me, I'm basically just a huge dork. I graduated from Cal Poly with a degree in computer science, and enjoy all things video game, fantasy, or SciFi related. Some of my favorites include Harry Potter, Legend of Zelda, DC Comics, and Star Wars.

Anna (Scout) Anthony-Geare

Maid of Honor

Most likely to: keep things running smoothly Hogwarts house: Ravenclaw Anna and I have been friends since third grade and have basically been through all of life's ups and downs together. We developed a growing obsession with Harry Potter together, even starting our own Harry Potter club with our friends in elementary school (we meet weekly after school, we were super legit). We've been through some embarrassing and awkward phases together growing up, like the years that we were obsessed with Hillary Duff (although I would still rock out to Sweet Sixteen), and middle school (need I say more?). Even though we've grown apart geographically, Anna is a forever friend and we'll still be close when we're 80. They're like the sibling I never had so of course, I had to ask her too be my MOH!

Nic Hay

Best Man

Most likely to: get drunk first Nic and I have been friends since we were little kids. We grew up a couple doors down from each other, and he essentially became a part of my family. Seriously, he was one of the only people that could just show up at our house without needing to be let in. He's like my brother, and the street smarts to my book smarts. He and I may seem like completely opposite individuals, but it's uncanny how alike we can think. As kids, we bonded over anything from sports, to video games, to razor scooters (remember those?). But through it all, there's no one else I would trust more to have my back, just like I would have his in a heart beat.

Brianna Garcia

Bridesmaid

Most likely to: dance like a fool with the bride Hogwarts house: Slytherin Brianna and I have been friends since sophomore year of college, where we met when we were roommates in the dorms. Brianna is one of my best friends and one of those people who I can always laugh or gossip with. We always have great banter between us and if we ever seem like we're being mean to each other, that's just our sense of humor together. From hiding our cats from our landlord, dancing badly on purpose, graduating together, and beyond, Brianna has always been a loyal friend and I love being able to call her one of my besties!

Craig Wise

Groomsman

Most likely to: end up the parent of the group Hogwarts house: Gryffindor Craig and I go all the way back to Kindergarten, even though we started off more like bitter rivals than friends. That didn't last long though, and we quickly became inseparable. Even when Craig switched to another school for 1st grade, I switched to the same school a few weeks later, and still remember how excited we got when we happened to find each other while I was checking into the front office with my parents. We eventually went on to found a small group of friends that persisted through the rest of our school careers.

Gabriela (Gabby) Johnson

Bridesmaid

Most likely to: get the party started Hogwarts House: Ravenclaw Gabby and I met during our first semester of college and became friends the following year when we roomed together in the dorms. Gabby is someone with an infectious laugh and a kind heart. She was usually the one in our friend group who we would turn to when we needed someone to be outgoing. She is someone I can always turn to if I need help, she's a great person to talk to, and a very supportive friend. I'm proud to call her one of my best friends and my bridesmaid!

Patrick Ayer

Groomsman

Most likely to: Rope everyone else into doing shots I first met Patrick while he was visiting his grandparents near where Nic and I grew up. We became fast friends, and the would hang out whenever he was around to visit his family. In 4th grade he transferred to the same elementary school as me and Craig, and thus became part of our band of compatriots during school time as well. Patrick would always host hangouts at his house, where we would all stay up way too late, play all sorts of video games, and get up to a lot of general nonsense. He is an essential member of our 'band of thieves' so to speak.

Jenna Daley

Bridesmaid

Most likely to: tell an embarrassing story about the groom Hogwarts house: Hufflepuff Jenna is Ryan's younger sister and my (Ibby's) bridesmaid! She has a great sense of humor, awesome taste in movies, and is an overall great person! She also graduated from CI (go dolphins!) and is now a teacher. I'm so excited to have her first as a bridesmaid and then as my sister-in-law! Bonus: Jenna was Ryan's Best Woman at our micro-wedding!

Eric Wang

Groomsman

Most likely to: get pulled into doing shots by Patrick Eric was brought into the group by Craig way back in 2nd grade, making him one of the first additions to the group. He's easily the smartest one in our group, and would definitely be my vote for the warlock of a DnD group (which we keep saying we will do eventually). Eric and I also got way into a game called RuneScape as kids, though he ended up being way better at it than I was. He rounds out band of merry men, and can always make us laugh whenever we have one of our annual guys trips.

Carolyn Russell

Mother of the Bride

Most likely to: help calm down the bride My (Ibby here) mom is my role model for me. Through her hard work and dedication, she recently began teaching in the special education department at Arroyo Grande High School. She is an artist who paints beautiful pictures in her free time. She attended UCSB and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Art with a minor in art history. In addition to this, she is an amazing mother to her three children, Ibby (the favorite), William, and Wyatt. My mom has shown me how to love unconditionally through her care for me and my brothers. Some things we enjoy doing together are dancing to rock music, grabbing a drink at Jocko's, and going to the beach. I love her very much and will be glad she is there to walk me down the aisle.

Jeanette Daley

Mother of the Groom

Most likely to: share the first photo on Facebook This is my (Ryan) mother, the one and only. She's the Portuguese part of my heritage, so expect her to be the more social half of my parents. She's gotten very good at reigning in "the kids" over the years, seeing as she and my dad successfully raised my sister and I. As such, she has already been a huge help in the planning process, and we cannot thank her enough.

William Russell

Usher

Most likely to: say something inappropriate at the reception William is the middle child out of the three Russell children. We (William and Ibby) are 5 years apart, which means that growing up, we didn't always get along. I thought he was annoying, he thought I was mean, etc...but now we get along much better and can talk about our issues and our funny stories alike. William is a talented artist and when he sets out to do something he has the power to accomplish a lot (like when he learned how to play guitar in about a month by practicing all day all the time). He has a great smile and has been compared to celebrities like Mick Jagger and Harry Styles. Bonus: William and Wyatt were my Men of Honor for our micro-wedding!

John Daley

Father of the Groom

Most likely to: end up serving drinks This is my dad, and also my namesake (for those unaware, my first name is also John). He enjoys most sports, including baseball, basketball, football, and golf. He also rides mountain bikes with a local group called the Village Dirtbags.

Wyatt Russell

Usher

Most likely to: OD on cake Wyatt is my (Ibby again) baby brother, even though he is not such a baby anymore as he graduated from Nipomo High School, class of 2019, and turned 18 soon after that. He is currently attending Hancock College and studying music production. In addition to this, he is a talented skateboarder, a good artist, and a smart guy. He shares the same sarcastic sense of humor as the rest of my family so be prepared. We are about 9 years apart so I've always been a bit protective of him, even when he drives me crazy. Bonus: William and Wyatt were my Men of Honor for our micro-wedding!
