Where should I stay?

Answer

We have two hotel blocks: one at the Pinon Court, and one at Hilton Santa Fe, Historic Plaza. See the Travel page on this website for booking information. There are lots of other lodging options in the plaza and a little further out depending on what you're looking for!

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Yes! We'd love it if your children can make it. Just let us know in the RSVP so we can plan out food and seats for them.

Can I bring a plus one?

We generally included significant others and spouses on your invitation, and kids are welcome, but if we accidently overlooked someone or you have any questions, please email us at: russellmaggie2015@gmail.com

How should I get to the venue?

Answer

There is parking at the venue, but it is a 20 minute drive up a winding road. We want you to relax and enjoy the evening, so we'd encourage you not to drive yourself. We're working on a shuttle to transport guests between the Plaza and the venue (and back) over the course of the event!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

September in Santa Fe is generally pleasant. Think 70s during the day, and low 50s at night. Having said that, the sun is intense here so prepare for it to feel hot! Weather can also be variable, so check the forecast before your trip. Our wedding ceremony and reception will take place higher up in the mountains, so expect it to be a little cooler than in town.

What should I wear?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal, so wear something that makes you feel good! Having said that, the celebrations will take place primarily outdoors up in the mountains. Expect some uneven footing and plenty of opportunity for lawn games. We'd recommend flat shoes, or a chunky heel and options for layering when temperatures drop in the evening!

Is there cell service at the venue?

Cell service is extremely limited to non-existent once you start driving on Hyde Park road!

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

No worries! We're doing a buffet style dinner that will have gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan options. If you have any concerns that we should pass along to the caterer, please let us know at: russellmaggie2015@gmail.com

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, we'll have an open bar at the cocktail hour and reception with alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. If you plan on continuing the celebration with us at a bar after the reception, we recommend a card or cash as those drinks won't be covered!
