Joel lives in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with his wife Jen. He is a professional video producer, the king of dry humor, and by FAR the oldest member of the bridal party. For two years, God allowed me to work for Joel. The time that we spent together on the job turned into some of my favorite moments from college! I am so thankful for Joel's faithfulness in our friendship, and for the many hours of conversation that we have had over black coffee.

Brother of the groom, and the most likely member of the family to be the owner of a fortune five hundred company. It is safe to say that Nate has been ahead of the curve his entire life. He started his own business at 16 years old, got married at 18, and graduated from college two years early. Despite all this, Nate is known by others for his humble heart.

College roommate of the bride. Chill, driven, ambitious, and a great multitasker. Always has a tv show/movie playing in the background while she does just about anything. Also, has a knack for matchmaking. Secretly loves to take credit for Russ's and I's relationship.
Calvin Newland

Brother of the groom, one of the most thoughtful and generous people on the planet…Calvin would be the first person I would turn to if I ever had any mechanical issues of any kind. He can drive anything from a four wheeler and an excavator, to a truck and trailer. One of my favorite memories of growing up with Cal comes from a time when we attempted to make a TV stand for a 400lb RCA TV. Long story short, we almost ended up ripping out an entire wall in our basement when we attempted to put the TV on the stand.

College best friend of the bride. Soccer player and coach. Bonded over country music, hanging with the guys, naps, and her abs. Can always catch her dancing and singing at the top of her lungs in the car next to you. One of the many reasons why we get along so well.

Pretty much my roommate during all of college, even though we never technically roomed together…I met him during my first week at school, and our friendship has flourished ever since. Our freshman year, Mason and I made a bet that I would never beat him in a single match of ping pong during our time at Masters. We must’ve played 200+ times… He won the bet.
Alyssa Prettyman

College best friend/teammate of the bride. "Brother". Smart, creative, passionate, dramatic, sarcastic, and sassy. The easiest and best person to scare purposefully or accidentally. My favorite memories include long talks, singing at the top of our lungs, and laughing uncontrollably for no reason.

Where to start...Josh is the type of guy that you are very, very glad to have on your side. The first time I met Josh he was sitting on his bed in his dorm room, fresh out of army camp, sharpening a massive knife. He is VERY confident, very smart, very talented, and is one of the most loyal people I have ever known. Josh is the only person I have ever met that when seated at a restaurant, sprints to the middle seat at the table in order to be at the center of every conversation. There is no doubt in my mind that you will see Josh in the center of the dance floor doing just about any dance move you could possibly imagine.

Best friend of the bride since the awkward middle school days. "Cousins". Loves to make up nicknames for people. My personal favorite, "Kimkiki". Bonded over our love for the San Francisco Giants and food. Sweet Tomatoes has been our go-to spot over the years. RIP.

My college roommate for one year, and fellow North Carolinian. Sweet tea, country music, fantasy football, and long, meaningful conversations have summed up a huge part of our friendship thus far. Jonny has a knack for running into famous people (he’s ridden on planes next to NBA and NFL stars), and seems to know someone every single place that he goes. One thing about Jonny, is that he doesn’t just know the people he runs into, they know HIM. Jonny’s reputation proceeds him, and I know that God uses Jonny’s ability to interact with people socially every single day.

Youngest brother and best bud of the groom. Being the youngest of four brothers, Will has learned to hold his own in arguments and in the other aspects of what is known as “brotherly love.” Will enjoys hunting, fishing, and talking smack to anyone about anything (not sure where he learned that).
