Is Goleta in Santa Barbara?

Yes, Goleta is part of Santa Barbara County, and about 10 minutes north on the 101 from downtown Santa Barbara.

Is there good beer in Goleta?

Answer

There are a number of new craft breweries in Goleta specifically, including Draughtsmen Aleworks, M Special, and Captian Fatty's. All are delicious places to taste beer. There are a variety of restaurants in Goleta, just search the one flavor you are looking for and you will likely find something close by, including my personal favorite- Hollister Brewery.

What will the parking situation be like?

Answer

There is free self parking at the hotel. With the holiday, there will likely be ample parking at the hotel, but if you need to you can park across the street in the shopping plaza.

Is there a good nail salon near by?

Answer

YES! Just half a block from the venue, there is a fantastic nail salon called Ocean Nails. Go there! You wont regret it.

Where is the nearest CVS or Pharmacy?

Answer

There is a Rite Aid Pharmacy about 3 minutes from the Goodland in the Fairview Shopping Center.

What about family fun entertainment?

Answer

Zodos Bowling Alley is just about 2 minutes north of the hotel, and its pretty cheap! It also features an arcade, full dinner and lunch menu, and a big bar with over 50 taps. The Zoo is another cheap option but loads of fun!

Do I need to stay at the Goodland?

NO! But if you do, be sure to contact our wedding coordinator to get details on the discounts. Also, there is a heated pool, so bring your shorts and bikinis!

Check our travel page for our favorite and least expensive locations in town. Please note: AirBnb is illegal in Santa Barbara County, so you will have trouble finding one of those if that's what you are looking for.

How do I get to the Goodland Hotel?

Answer

From whatever direction you are traveling, exit the 101 at Patterson, turn (right or left) toward the mountains, take a left on Calle Real (first street), drive about 1 mile up the road, and it will be on the right hand side.
