Everyone knows the Grand Canyon is stunning, but if you’re already in Arizona, consider taking a trip to the South Rim. We visited recently for Charlie’s birthday and loved the quiet trails, amazing views, and even a few deer sightings. We recommend staying at Yavapai Lodge, which is conveniently located near the rim with easy access to hikes, viewpoints, and free shuttles.
