FAQs

If you have any questions, you may find the answers here! If not, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Rachel Rush or Margaret Platt – they’ll be happy to help.
Question

What time should we arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving at least 20–30 minutes before the ceremony to find parking, get settled, and take a moment to soak in the setting. This will help ensure everyone is ready for the celebration to begin on time!

Question

Is transportation available for the events?

Answer

Yes. For your convenience, Uber vouchers will be provided for transportation to and from the DoubleTree Hotel (our room block hotel) for the Welcome Party on April 10 and the Wedding on April 11.

Question

What to wear?

Answer

We’re going for garden-chic! Think light, spring-inspired colors, elegant florals, and polished-yet-comfortable attire. Ladies, flowing or midi-length dresses with block heels or stylish flats are perfect for strolling the grass. Gentlemen, lightweight suits or dress pants with a collared shirt will keep you looking sharp. Our celebration will take place entirely outdoors, surrounded by nature. While the weather is expected to be pleasant, we recommend bringing a light sweater or jacket for the evening. We can’t wait to see everyone dressed up and enjoying the beautiful setting!

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

The Farm at South Mountain has two venues so it is important to be aware of the ideal lot to park in. While there will be signs near the street to guide our guests, please follow these general directions: For parking – Enter The Farm from 32nd Street. Drive down the main lane, then turn left at the sunflower trailer. Continue until you reach the large lot marked ‘Additional Farm Parking.’ For Uber/Lyft/Rideshare drop off – Enter The Farm from 32nd Street and drive down the main lane. Guests can be dropped off at the end of the horseshoe lot for the shortest walk to the venue. If your driver is dropping you off, they’ll continue around the horseshoe lot, then take a right at the sunflower trailer. There, you’ll find the event lot marked “Additional Farm Parking.” Additional parking can be found directly across the street from the entrance of The Farm at South Mountain. This parking lot is designated for the other wedding venue on the property, but guests can park here if needed.

Question

Can I leave my car overnight?

Answer

Yes! Just keep in mind that The Farm at South Mountain doesn’t open its parking lot gates until 8 AM, so you won’t be able to retrieve your car before then.

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

We respectfully request that this celebration be reserved for adults only. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in honoring our wishes.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Your invitation includes an RSVP card indicating the number of guests allocated to you. Please RSVP only for the guests listed.
