Once you have received your formal invitation via mail, please respond online via the RSVP tab of our website by April 15, 2023. If you have questions or concerns about the online RSVP system, please contact Andrea or David using the contact information at the top of this page.
We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! To give all our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we politely request no children.
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes; if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
We have! More information about hotel blocks (including booking instructions and discount codes) can be found under the Travel tab of our website.
We're casual! Think of this as cowboy/girl Sunday best. David will be wearing a nice western shirt, sport coat, blue jeans, cowboy boots, and a hat. Andrea will also be wearing a hat and boots with her dress. We want y'all to be comfortable, so please, no suits, no formalwear, and no khakis.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!
We want our guests to be fully present, so we politely ask that you turn off and put away all electronic devices during our wedding ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer and will be more than excited to share those photos with you after the big day. After the ceremony, GO NUTS! Take as many photos as you want during cocktail hour and the reception. Feel free to tag us #StarringtheRushlows!
When in Texas...BBQ! There will also be light appetizers during cocktail hour: pimento cheese and smoked sausage with crackers, mini street tacos, and Texas potato skins. For dinner, we will be serving an awesome buffet of pulled pork, sliced beef brisket, and turkey breast with all the fixins. Sides include house salad with ranch and Italian dressings, burnt end beans, mac-n-cheese, bacon green beans, and Mexican street corn. And for dessert...PIE (strawberry rhubarb, pecan, bourbon apple, buttermilk, and chocolate chess)!
We will be serving an open bar, so please have fun, but be safe and use rideshare services if needed! Uber and Lyft are available to and from the venue, so download those apps beforehand. If you drive to the venue with the best of intentions but end up partying a little too hard, you can leave your vehicle in the locked venue parking lot overnight, but it must be picked up by 12:00 PM the following day (Monday, 5/29).
There is a designated smoking area outside the reception hall. No smoking is permitted anywhere else on the venue grounds per our contract.
