In a frozen land far, far away, David and Andrea attended Michigan Technological University (home of the Huskies). Like two ships passing in the night, they both worked in the Career Services office in the Admin building. Andrea was always just leaving as David was arriving, and their interactions consisted of "hi, bye" at best. Both graduating seniors, David and Andrea unknowingly signed up for the same PE course - Beginning Billiards. And while their interactions up to this point had been limited, David was the most familiar person in the room to Andrea, so she approached him and they became partners (and sometimes rivals) for the class. It was only a half-semester course, but even though the class ended, David and Andrea's connection did not. They grabbed drinks and continued to shoot pool together outside of school. With only a few weeks left until graduation, it wasn't likely that a relationship was feasible, so they didn't really make any future plans - but the feelings were definitely strong. David had already accepted a full-time job in Fort Worth, Texas, and Andrea had reluctantly agreed to move back in with her parents temporarily while she continued to look for work. Graduation came and went, and David moved to Texas; the two stayed in touch every day, but they still missed each other. So, David bought Andrea a one-way ticket to Texas, and they took a HUGE leap of faith that this thing was worth a shot. The day after Andrea arrived in Texas, David asked her to be his girlfriend. Almost six years later, David and Andrea have built a life together in Texas, bought a home and a camper, adopted the sweetest pup (Ava), and are planning a wedding. They are incredibly excited to begin this next chapter of their lives together and hope you will be in attendance for the big day!
