It's a modern-day fairy tale... Alex kept liking my pictures on Twitter, so I went and liked his pictures in return. After I had enough of this Game of Picture Liking that we were playing, I messaged him on Twitter. The first conversations were easy. We talked about how we both had worked for Brookshire's right off the bat. We knew a lot of the same people, but somehow never came in contact with one another. Knowing that I knew where he worked and we had some mutual friends, I agreed to go to the Drive-In in Ennis the very next weekend. (This is a big deal - this could have turned into a murder documentary quickly). We have different recollections of this date, but what matters is that he brought my favorite wine and bought all my favorite movie snacks. I don't even remember the movies that we watched, because we talked through every minute of both showings. Ever since that night, even through a lengthy period of denial, we have been hooked!
