Yes! Please join us at the Equestrian Center at the Salamander Resort & Spa on Saturday May 27th from 8-10pm to kick off our wedding weekend! There will be some light bites, an open bar, lawn games and more! Please note that the Equestrian Center is a few minutes walk outside on a lighted, paved walkway from the main building or parking lot. The dress code is Garden Party Attire - sundresses, fun or floral prints, bright or pastel colors, suits/pants in lighter hues.

The dress code for Sunday’s Wedding Ceremony & Reception is Semi-Formal Attire. Please note that weather-permitting, the Ceremony & Cocktail Hour will take place outdoors. The Dinner & Reception will take place indoors. The dress code for Saturday’s Rehearsal Dinner & Welcome Celebration is Garden Party Attire - sundresses, blouses, fun or floral prints, bright or pastel colors, slacks or suits in lighter hues. Please note that weather-permitting, the Rehearsal Dinner will take place outdoors. The Welcome Celebration will take place both inside and outside of the Equestrian Center.
For those staying at the Home2Suites by Hilton Chantilly - yes, there will be a shuttle provided to take you to and from the wedding. The shuttle will depart from Home2Suites at 4:30pm sharp - please be ready to go in the lobby at 4:15pm. The shuttle will leave the Salamander to return guests to Home2Suites at both 10:00pm and 11:00pm. If you are staying in a nearby Airbnb or VRBO and need transportation to/from the wedding, please contact Taylor so that it can be arranged.
Free self parking is available in a large parking lot at the Salamander Resort & Spa for those who plan to drive to the wedding. Valet services are also available at a rate of $29/night or $10/day.
Please arrive at the Middleburg Lawn by 5:15pm. The Ceremony will begin at 5:30pm. If you are driving to the venue, please allow extra time for parking and then to walk to the Middleburg Lawn. We would recommend arriving to the venue by 5pm if you need to park.
Yes! The entire wedding weekend will take place at the Salamander Resort & Spa. There is a map of the property at the top of the Schedule page. Please note that the Wedding Ceremony and Cocktail Hour will take place outdoors on the Middleburg Lawn and Terrace (weather permitting). The Reception will take place indoors in the Middleburg Ballroom, just a few steps away.
Cupcake is the Salamander Resort & Spa's resident miniature horse and she's celebrating her 12th birthday this month! You can "Meet & Greet with Cupcake" on Fridays and Saturdays from 4-4:30pm in the Living Room. Otherwise, if you're lucky, you may be able to find her in/around the Equestrian Center...
