Blue Back Square
We went on our first date here at Bar Louie and World of Beer. Blue Back Square and West Hartford Center is filled with fantastic restaurants and boutique shoppes. Great for a lunch, dinner, or brunch with the family as it has options for everyone.
Heublein Tower
Perfect 1.5 mile hike to spectacular views of Simsbury, Avon, and West Hartford. They say on a clear day you can see all the way to the Long Island Sound from the top of the tower. This hike has a substantial elevation gain, but the views are well worth it!
West Hartford Reservoir
The West Hartford Reservoir is a perfect place to get a nice walk or jog in while you stay in the area. It has a 2.0 mile and 3.5 mile paved loop where you can walk or ride bikes. If you are feeling adventurous there are many trails that intertwine the paved paths that will allow you to take in the CT foliage.
Rosedale Farms & Vineyards
One of the many fantastic wineries we have here in CT. Rosedale is located right around the corner from the Riverview. We love this winery for its casual vibe, great staff, and delicious wine. Make sure you try the "Farmington River Red"!
