FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by September 15th, 2026.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal. We recommend floor-length dresses, midi dresses, or dressy separates, along with suits, dress shirts, or slacks with a blazer. Most importantly, wear something that makes you feel confident and ready to celebrate!

Question

Is the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will take place at Abernethy Center- Abigail's Garden.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

A shuttle will be provided to and from the Hilton Garden Inn Clackamas/Portland hotel and our wedding venue! More specific details to come!

Question

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

Answer

Yes, there is free onsite parking available at the venue. Please note there is no overnight parking allowed at the venue.

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place outdoors. Oregon weather can be unpredictable, we recommend planning accordingly—bringing a light rain jacket is always a good idea! The reception will be held in a covered area with heaters to keep everyone warm and comfortable throughout the fall evening.

Question

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

We have reserved a room block at Hilton Garden Inn Clackamas/Portland. Please book your stay by September 23rd, 2026 to guarantee a room in our block. Reference the Runge Nestegard wedding while booking to receive our reduced rate.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

Answer

We'd like to keep the guest list to those who know us well. We’re only able to include the guests listed on the invitation. Thanks so much for understanding—we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but to keep the day relaxed and intimate, we kindly ask that our wedding be an adults-only event. We truly appreciate your understanding.

Question

Is your wedding venue ADA accessible?

Answer

Yes! There’s a paved path from the parking lot to the ceremony and reception areas, and a cart will be available to assist guests who need it. Please let us know if you have any other accessibility needs—we want everyone to feel comfortable and included.
