During the Summer of 2023, Collin was playing baseball in Great Falls, Montana while Kelsey was living and working in Missoula, Montana. During a road trip to Missoula, following a few Facetime dates, we finally got to meet each other in person because of a rainout. We went on our first date to a popular pizza place, followed by a thorough and brutal Q&A session by Kelsey's roommates. The following day, Kelsey braved the weather of a doubleheader in the rain to watch Collin play ball for the first time. Over the next few weeks, Kelsey traveled to Great Falls to watch the final game of the 2023 season, Collin returned to Missoula after the end of the season, was supposed to stay for the weekend and stayed more than a week. While both of us said that we would never be in a long distance relationship, we made things official and spent the next 8 months building a relationship across several state lines. Thank goodness we both decided to take a chance, the rest is history!
