Question

When and where is the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding will take place on August 16, 2025, at Nestldown in Los Gatos, California. We will have three main events on the same day: Indian Ceremony – Afternoon (outdoors) Cocktail Hour – After the ceremony (outdoors) Reception including dinner – Evening (partially outdoors & indoors) We recommend bringing a light shawl or jacket in case of cooler evening temperatures.

Question

When should I plan to arrive in California for the wedding?

Answer

We’d love for you to join us for all the celebrations! In addition to the wedding, we’re hosting a Welcome Party on August 15th from 6:30 PM onwards. We recommend arriving by the afternoon of August 15, 2025, so you have time to settle in and enjoy the festivities before the big day. If you’d like to join us for the Welcome Party, please RSVP on the RSVP page. More details can be found on the Schedule page. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 1st, 2025, using the RSVP page on this website. This will help us ensure everything is properly arranged for your attendance. Thank you!

Question

Are you registered anywhere?

Answer

We are not registered anywhere, but if you'd like to contribute, you can find all the details on our Registry page. We kindly request no boxed gifts.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to space limitations at the venue, we can only accommodate guests who are listed on the invitation. If your invitation includes a plus-one, please be sure to RSVP for them by the deadline. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate additional guests beyond those specified. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

You're welcome to wear Indian attire (sarees, lehengas, kurtas, etc.), but it's completely optional! If you prefer Western clothing, think summer cocktail attire—flowy dresses, florals, linen suits, etc. Bright colors and pastels are encouraged! For more information on specific dress codes for each function please visit the Schedule page. Please avoid wearing red, white, or cream on both days. If you're interested in wearing Indian attire but aren't sure where to shop, here are some online options: Aza Fashions, Kalki Fashion and Cbazaar.

Question

Will there be a break between events?

Answer

No, the wedding ceremony will flow directly into cocktail hour, followed by the reception. Please note that there will not be an opportunity for guests to change outfits between events, so we recommend wearing something comfortable for the entire celebration.

Question

How do I get to the wedding venue?

Answer

We highly recommend driving to the venue if you are staying in town. If you are a guest at the DoubleTree, shuttles will be provided to and from the venue. Due to the remote location of the venue in the Santa Cruz Mountains, rideshare services like Uber and Lyft will not be available for pick-up after the event. If you are not taking the shuttle, we strongly recommend arranging your own transportation in advance to ensure you have a ride back.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request an unplugged ceremony, meaning no photography is permitted during the wedding ceremony. Our photography team will capture all the special moments, and we’ll be sure to share the photos with you afterward. However, feel free to take pictures during the reception and cocktail hour!
