We met on a dating app called Hinge. Once matched, a few messages were exchanged that were mostly filled with dad jokes and casual banter from both of us. While one of us was terrible with responding in a timely matter (Rufus), we eventually agreed with meeting on Sunday, December 15th, 2019 at a Boba Tea shop in Monrovia, California. We talked for over two hours about anything and everything. From our dreams, to our goals, to our childhood, to what are favorite music is. We both were in shock and convinced that one another wasn't real because HOW in the world could we each have found someone so perfect. The first date led to more dates soon after, which then led us into falling so deeply in love. Most of our dating season was during a global panademic so we spent it improvising and making the best of it that we could. We had lots of car ride dates, picnics in the park and beach dates. While our dating season wasn't typical, we believe it grew us closer together in an even shorter period of time. We thank God for His timing on when we met and we wouldn't change it for anything.
