Chicago Airports: MWD or ORD
Chicago has two major airports: Midway (MDW) and O'Hare (ORD) - both are easily accessible via public transportation, Ubers, and cabs to get downtown. Midway is a Southwest hub, and ORD is a United hub, but most airlines fly into both. Ubers can get expensive, so we recommend carpooling if you know someone coming in at the same time as you. For a cost effective option, we recommend the train within normal hours of the day 8am-7pm. For the train, if you start at the airport, it costs $5 to get downtown; if you leave from downtown to go to the airport, it costs $2.50.

Local Transportation Information
To get to and from the airport, you have Uber and train options. All hotels listed here are walking distance from our venue. If you choose to spend more time in the city pre/post wedding, the River North area and the surrounding neighborhoods are extremely walkable. The entire city is also easily accessible via train, bike, and car. We do not recommend renting a car unless you plan to drive elsewhere outside the city - parking is expensive and 24/7, so unless you are driving a car yourself, it might not be worth renting one and parking it in the city.
