Plattsburgh Brewing Company home of the War of 1812 Beer, Plucky Rooster Ale. The beer was crafted using ingredients true to the 1800s and named after a 200 year old rooster to commemorate the War of 1812 Bicentennial. Plattsburgh Brewing Company offers an incredibly diverse line of handcrafted beers. 7 staple brands and 3 beers varying seasonally. Featured by a wine preservation system, 24 bottles of temperature-controlled, perfectly-preserved wine are always ready to be enjoyed.
Point Au Roche State Park
Point Au Roche State Park is a day-use park, offering a playground, picnic areas, biking paths, hiking trails, cross-country skiing, fishing, a nature center, and a sandy beach.
Bluff Point Golf & Country Club
Located directly on Lake Champlain, Historic Bluff Point Golf Resort, designed by famous golf course architect A.W Tillinghast and established in 1890, features 6 fully equipped Cottages and 12 Suites all located between two of the holes. The course is a Parkland style with a length of 6309 yards, sloped and well bunkered greens a signature of Tillinghast are found throughout. The signature, par 3, 5th hole runs its length along Lake Champlain. With views of the Green Mountains of Vermont, New York's Adirondacks, and Valcour Island, Bluff Point is the area's most scenic golf course.
