Matthew and Katelyn, both from Flemington, first met each other after Katie transferred to Barley Sheaf Elementary School in the first grade. After popping in and out of each others lives during their school years, they began dating their sophomore year of high school at Hunterdon Central in the spring of 2014. Although after a busy summer of baseball, lacrosse, field hockey, vacations, Katie fleeing to Australia for 3 weeks they decided it would be best just to be friends. But that didn’t last long because on Christmas of 2014 Matt asked Katie to be his girlfriend again and they have been together ever since! So after new schools, multiple graduations, new jobs, buying a house, three dogs and hearing “when’s the wedding?” for the last nine years it’s officially time to tie the knot!
