Our ceremony is planned outside at the Temple Gardens behind the Sayen house. When you arrive, follow the sign from the parking lot (0.1mi) and go around to the back of the house to be seated for the ceremony. Post ceremony reception is inside the Sayen house and you’ll be guided in to your tables.
Suits, cocktail dresses, tuxes, gowns or any traditional wedding attire are welcome! Our dresses as bride and groom will reflect modern American with a hint of Filipino and Indian traditions. We request that you avoid the white, yellow, and champagne color palettes
Our ceremony will start at 5 pm, so please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to that to get seated and actively participate in the ceremony
Thankfully, forecasts don’t predict a washout or a storm. We may have a classic cool spring day with some chance of showers. If it rains while we are outdoors in the Temple Gardens during the ceremony, we will have clear umbrellas available for each guest. For the rest of our celebration, we will be sheltered and cozy inside the Sayen house.
We will not be able to accept gifts at the venue. Since we plan to move around a lot this year and will leave most of our belongings in storage, we request that if you'd like to gift us, please do so through our Registry (linked on this website). We appreciate your generosity and understanding. Thank you so much!
Our ceremony while not a religious Christian or Hindu ritual, will be a blend of American, Filipino & Indian cultures along with our love for nature & the great outdoors. We have thoughtfully combined elements to celebrate what brought us together and to honor our heritage. We look forward to your active participation!
Guests may park at the Sayen House & Gardens visitor parking lot located on Hughes Drive. The path to walk to the wedding venue is located at the north end of the lot. If you need accessibility, please contact us
Please respond using the RSVP section on this website no later than 25 April.
