It all began with a simple Facebook post in the MeetJew Facebook group. Jess was already living in Nashville, having moved to her happy place. Lee was looking to escape the Wisconsin weather and Nashville's music scene was in his sights. Lee asked Jess a simple question: "What is your favorite music venue in Nashville?" They were both hooked. After weeks of texting back and forth, Jess flew to Wisconsin to meet her music man. After a whirlwind weekend, Jess and Lee felt a deep connection that only grew. After a month of long distance "dating," Lee moved to Nashville. From then on, they were a couple, enjoying concerts, album releases parties, festivals, sporting events, farmers markets and traveling. After a year, Lee knew it was time to ask Jess to marry him.
Music is what brought them together, and there was no better way to propose than during the Total Eclipse. Lee planned the perfect weekend in Indiana! After a relaxing massage at the Baden Springs Resort, Jess was led to the gardens where a card was left for her on a bench. Following the directions and the music (Total Eclipse of the Heart), Jess found Lee, on bended knee with the ring and a Hatch Print Sign that said "Will You Marry Me?" Jess and Lee are counting down the days to their Nashville wedding!
