Dress Code

The Wedding Website of Rachel Rubendall and Jake Dobry
This is a Black Tie celebration with a softer, more romantic twist inspired by fall in New Orleans. Formal attire is requested for all guests!

Ladies

DRESS CODE

We kindly ask that you opt for a longer dress or a chic pantsuit in a formal style. LOOK & FEEL While black is always a classic choice, if you're considering color and need a little inspiration, please refer to the color palette and dress inspiration posted above. Our wedding colors include deep burgundy, velvety plum, olive, and golden chartreuse — romantic, rich, and timeless, like a candlelit evening in the French Quarter. These colors are not required — just a little inspiration if you'd like to coordinate. We kindly ask that you avoid wearing white and creams— the bride has that one covered! SHOES We’ll be parading through the French Quarter after the ceremony, so block heels or walkable shoes are highly encouraged — something you can dance (and second line!) in with ease. Have fun with it — wear something that makes you feel beautiful, festive, and like your best self!

GENTLEMAN

DRESS CODE

We kindly ask that you wear a Black Suit. LOOK & FEEL Ties are encouraged to keep with the Black Tie spirit, but feel free to add your own personal flair! SHOES We’ll be parading through the French Quarter after the ceremony, so comfortable dress shoes are recommended — something you can walk (and dance) in with ease.
