In October of 2021 , we went on a spontaneous trip to New Orleans over Halloween weekend, planned by our closest friends who somehow knew we’d be the perfect match. With a little help from fate and their intuition, we found ourselves falling for each other in a city full of magic, music, and soul. New Orleans quickly became the place where our love story truly began. Years later, as we started planning our wedding, it only felt right to return to where it all started. One afternoon while strolling through the French Quarter, we met Matt, the poet pictured below. We shared our story, and within minutes, he handed us a poem that beautifully captured the serendipity of our meeting, the essence of New Orleans, and the love that brought us back. In that moment we knew that this would be the place where we say “I do,” surrounded by the people we love the most. There’s nowhere quite like New Orleans, steeped in history, pulsing with rhythm, and glowing with a spirit you can feel on every corner. We are so grateful and humbled to celebrate this next chapter in a city that holds such a special place in our hearts.
