Roxanne & Josh

We got married by Roxanne's childhood bishop on the property of a friend of a friend in Round Hill, Virginia. It was perfect Virginia weather which was a huge blessing! We had Roxanne's nieces and nephews "walk" down the aisle (some ran). Roxanne's sister Cassie read an excerpt from Les Mis and Josh's Nana read 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. After the reception, we had dinner at Roxanne's parents' home. We had BBQ, cake, and some New York pastries. Speeches were given by Holly (Roxanne's sister and matron of honor); Joel (Josh's brother and best man); Jim (Josh's dad); and Rhonda (Roxanne's mom). We danced to "I Wanna Grow Old with You" by Bride & Groom and had father-daughter and mother-son dances. It was a really fun evening and the small ceremony proved to be a good opportunity for our families to form a solid bond.
