We have fond memories of our wedding day but the one thing missed out on was the presence of our friends and extended family. Her story: I had a meeting with my bishop one Sunday. I showed up early and sat in the clerks office. Josh was the ward clerk at the time and started to chat me up. He was easy to talk to and left a good impression. We ran into each other at a couple different parties and eventually he called me up to ask me on a date. His story: See above.

Roxanne was flying out to San Diego to visit Josh for a long weekend. Her travel plans quickly unraveled as her first flight was delayed and missed her second flight. While Roxanne bawled at an empty airport gate, Josh quickly set about to change his plans. When Roxanne finally landed in San Diego (eight hours after she was supposed to), Josh picked her up and took her to a fancy restaurant called Vistal with the prettiest view of San Diego. At the end of a delicious dinner and dessert, Josh suggested taking a photo out on the balcony. He lead her to a secluded outdoor couch underneath a pergola with a table decorated with candles and red rose petals. That's where he got down on one knee and asked Roxanne to marry him!
