Roxanne joined the Purdue Latin & Ballroom Dance Team to keep up with her love of dancing. Kevin needed something else to do between reserve drill weekends. They both started out with other partners, going to many comps, and having fun at team events. One fateful semester, Kevin returned to Purdue for graduate school finding himself without a partner. Luck would have it that Roxie was also without a partner. From there, the seeds for Kevin's long game plan sprouted.

Kevin left the land of Hoosiers to pursue work as a beltway bandit at our nation's capital. Roxie sensing a gap between her schooling in healthcare, decided to move to D.C. to pursue more dancing with Kevin while figuring out academics. It was only a matter of time before we fell in love.

Kevin knew it was love when he ate questionable roadside seafood while visiting Hong Kong and Roxie was the one taking care of him.

Since Roxie is an excellent detective, Kevin kept his proposal plan secret by having someone else do it. Bridesmaid Bridget and Groomsmaid Sylvia orchestrated a wonderful plan to propose during the competition! Roxie was caught completely off guard.
