We chose the Basílica Pontificia de San Miguel not only for its timeless beauty and rich history, but because getting married before God is deeply meaningful to both of us. Built in the 18th century on the site of Madrid’s oldest comedy theater, this Baroque gem is adorned with breathtaking frescoes, a golden altar, and a majestic dome that lifts both eyes and spirit. Its elegance creates a sacred, intimate atmosphere, and its pontifical title brings a unique connection to the Church and the Pope. We feel incredibly grateful to begin our marriage in such a significant place, surrounded by the love and support of those who mean the most to us.

For our celebration, we wanted a storybook setting, and Castillo de Batres is just that. This stunning 15th-century castle, surrounded by lush gardens, ancient walls, and a romantic moat, is one of Madrid’s best-kept secrets. With its medieval tower, brick fortress, and Renaissance charm, it carries centuries of history, even once home to the poet Garcilaso de la Vega. As the sun sets over its timeless grounds, the atmosphere becomes pure magic. We can’t wait to celebrate our special day with you in this enchanting place!
