Holland is known for its extensive Dutch roots and history. Take an afternoon to check out a beautiful oasis on the edge of downtown Holland. It features an original working Dutch windmill named "De Zwaan" (the Swan) brought over from the Netherlands in 1964.
This is one of the many beaches you can visit on the coast of Lake Michigan. There are a handful of parks, beaches and trails you can visit to take in the natural beauty of Holland.
Sandy Point Beach House is a hidden gem in West Olive. After a long day of boating, we like to spend our time here getting some evening cocktails listening to live music in their outdoor patio taking in all of the beach house vibes.
You need to visit one of our favorite spots right in our backyard. We frequent this pier and boardwalk during the warmer months..even the cold too! There is plenty to do and see on the coast. We would love for you to experience all of the excitement of Grand Haven, and see all of the hidden gems in our beach town.
The musical fountain is a great way to take in the night life in Grand Haven. It is a synchronized water and light show accompanied with music of all varieties. We love getting some ice cream and sitting on the boardwalk to watch these shows on low key summer nights.
In the lull the week before the big day, we will be out on the water as much as possible. Give us a shout and we can take you on a cruise in our boat around Spring Lake into Lake Michigan. We would love to host you!
Rosy Mound Natural Area is an amazing trail tucked away in Grand Haven that leads to the coast. It is one of our favorite trails to hike together. With its Insta-worthy views and awesome trail, this place is great to visit if you're looking to get outside for a bit.
Village Baker is our favorite best kept secret in our town of Spring Lake. We have spent many date nights at this place. Their menu is unbeatable, and they have THE best baked goods. You will probably run into us there when you visit.
If you're up for a road trip, there is always something to do in downtown Grand Rapids in the summer time. It's the city where we met, and where our relationship started and grew. We have a lot of memories and friendships that we will forever cherish that were made in this city.
We have celebrated countless Taco Tuesdays at Donkey, as well as had our fair share of nights of one too many margaritas with our friends. If Mexican food is your thing, be sure to check out Donkey located in our old stomping grounds on Wealthy Street in Grand Rapids.
