Manito Park
Manito Park is located on the south hill in Spokane, and is absolutely gorgeous-- lots of walking paths and various types of gardens. It is a short drive from anywhere in Spokane. There are 5 major garden areas within the 90 acre park. As well as ponds where you are sure to see ducks!
Tree To Tree Idaho Adventure Park
About an hour East of Spokane, Tree To Tree offers both a Kids Tree Top Adventure Course and a Jr & Adult Adventure Course. With zip lines, nets, Tarzan swings, and other fun obstacles, this aerial adventure course is a blast. We loved it!
Centennial Trail
The Centennial Trail is a 40 mile paved trail that winds through Eastern Washington and into Idaho following the Spokane River. Lots of various trailheads. Great for walking, running, and bicycling. Look out for turkeys!
Gonzaga University
Go Zags! Walk the campus or check out the school's event page to see what's going on! Find the statue of Spike and get a picture. Located right off downtown Spokane, the Centennial Trail passes through the beautiful campus.
Lake Pend Oreille
Lake Pend Oreille is the largest lake in Idaho, and the 38th largest in US. There are numerous attractions and adventures on the lake from Farragut State Park on the south end of the lake, to Sandpoint on the North end. This is a beautiful location to spend some time relaxing. You might even see a moose!
Lake Coeur d'Alene
Lake Coeur d’Alene is a picturesque lake in north Idaho, just about 30 minutes from Spokane. There are numerous parks, playgrounds, and restaurants within walking distance of the water. Head over to the lake to enjoy the water! Keep an eye out for eagles!
Silverwood Theme Park
About 45-60 minutes away from Spokane, this theme park features over 70 rides, slides, shows and attractions, including four roller coasters, Boulder Beach Water Park, a steam engine train, live entertainment, restaurants, beautiful gardens, and more.
Riverfront Park
A great walk with lots of sights! This beautiful park is walking distance from numerous restaurants and hotels in downtown Spokane. Too many sights in the park to list here but it should definitely be on your to-do list for your Spokane adventure!
Mobius Discovery Center
Mobius is located in downtown Spokane and is in walking distance from numerous hotels, restaurants, and Riverfront Park. Sparking the curiosity of children through exploration, play, and the arts, and igniting imaginations with fascinating exhibits and skill-building activities.
