Megan and Brian's first date was in Kennebunkport. Megan learned that Brian was from Nevada and had a love for all things outdoors, and anyone who knows Megan, knows that the outdoors is the furthest thing from an interest of hers. In an effort to relate and continue conversation, Megan brought up that her 25th birthday theme was “glamping”, except it was more of a mansion in the woods. To which Brian said he was going to take her to experience real glamping in Zion National Park one day.

For Megan’s next birthday, Brian planned a trip out west. He took her to Sedona, the Grand Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park, and Las Vegas. The day they were in Zion fell on her birthday. Their “glampsite”, overlooked the mountains. Little did Megan know, that evening everything would come full circle for them and Brian would propose to her.
