Hi!Hi!

We understand destination weddings are a big ask, so we wanted to make sure the location and hotel we chose had a lot more to offer than just our wedding. While the ceremony and reception are limited to invited guests only, we really encourage you to travel with family or close friends to make this a more memorable trip -the only exception is that they will have to book directly with the hotel. As a guest of Hotel Xcaret Mexico, your stay will come with free access and transportation to their 6 amazing parks including food & drinks, and several perks while visiting those parks. You will also have free access to tours like visiting the pyramids of Chicen Itza (a current modern world wonder!), and taking a ferry or catamaran to/from Isla Mujeres or Cozumel. You can read more about the details in the "Things to do" tab. Please do your research to take full advantage of your time out there, and to identify some of the "additional activities $" at some of the parks which will have an extra cost. Some of the tours will require a reservation.

The hotel requires that all guests book from October 20th-23rd to meet the room block requirements and to attend our private event. Please select the correct number of adults in your room as the prices are per person, per night. These reservations are non-refundable. You’re welcome to arrive earlier or stay later, but those 3-nights are necessary. If you're unsure about additional days –you can always add them later by reaching out to booking@hotelxcaret.com. Rates for Garden suite per person, per night: $354.64 (double occupancy) $440.00 (single occupancy) **PLEASE complete the RSVP for you and your guest as soon as you can** Unfortunately, any friends traveling with you but not attending the wedding cannot book, or be listed under a room block reservation. The room block headcount needs to match the number of wedding guests. To avoid any issues with payment, let your bank know that you'll be making a reservation through a Mexican link. Once you’ve booked your fantastic Garden Suite, you can contact the resort if you'd like to upgrade to a different room type. We set it up this way to make sure we’ve secured the most accessible rooms for everyone. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Paige and I will be at the resort the entire week, and we’re planning a variety of optional outings. While the wedding is the only event that’s required, we encourage you to stay a little longer if you can—it’ll be an unforgettable vacation! This is the hotel we will be having the wedding at. Please explore their site or youtube videos on your own so you can experience all the benefits and see why we chose this location. This hotel isn't just a regular all-inclusive experience. Think of a tropical and natural Mexican version of a theme park, but better! It includes so much more. You'll have access to 7+ parks, paddle boarding, kayaking in the river, 7 hidden slides, running trails, monkeys, flamingos, hammocks, and so much more. Please read through the "things to do" section for all the details. Check in is at 3pm, and check out is at noon, but you have access to all the guest benefits as soon as you arrive. Feel free to leave your bags and heads to one of the parks while they prep your room! We also request you book through our room block for better rates, and to make sure the hotel is aware that you are part of our wedding for a more personal and guided experience. We have a designated point of contact and team to help your with any questions or issues. (Do not book through the general hotel website)

TransportationTransportation

The hotel provides shared transportation to/from the Cancun* airport and includes a lounge to wait in when you land. Once you book your room, you will be asked to share your flight information so they can schedule your ride. You must book your ride no later than 30 days from arrival, but we suggest you do it as soon as you can. The hotel is about an hour away from the airport. One thing to note upon your departure, the hotel will schedule your ride about 5 hours before your flight. It's a little inconvenient and if you feel its too much time, you can move it back at your own risk. Or you can schedule your own ride with Cancun Shuttle for an extra cost. If you choose to fly to the Tulum airport, you will have to find your own ride to/from the hotel. If for any reason, you find yourself in need of a taxi, we recommend working with "Cancun Shuttle" to schedule rides in advance. You have to schedule a day in advanced through the airport website (https://www.cancunairport.com/transportation.html), or their own (https://www.cancunshuttle.com/). We have used them ourselves and their rates were better than any other taxis we talked to. Keep in mind hotels have contracts with specific companies so once you have checked in, you will only be able to move around with them and their rates are a lot higher than Cancun Shuttle.
