What is the dress code?

Answer

This is a formal event with a pastel/floral theme. We kindly ask that guests dress in formal attire, and if possible on theme.

Am I able to stay at the lodge?

Answer

Yes! Please call the Pictou Lodge and book a room @ 1 800 495 6343. Let them know you are with the "Martin Wedding Party"! Please do so prior to April 30th so we can guarantee your accommodation.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Due to a limited number, we have only allowed plus-ones for specific couples we know. If you have been granted a plus-one, it should be indicated on your invitation next to your name.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by May 1st.

Will there be a bar?

Answer

No, the liquor license works similar to a camp ground. Feel free to bring your own drinks. Bottles of wine will be provided but there are a limited number for each table.

Are phones allowed during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that phones are away and on silent during the ceremony. Feel free to take them out beyond the church doors!

Will there be children?

Answer

Due to limited seating, we kindly ask that our celebration be reserved for guests aged 13 and older, with the exception of those in the wedding party. We also wish to note that this will not be a dry wedding, and may not be appropriate for small children.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be indoors at the church. The reception will be inside the Northumberland Room at the lodge.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive 20-30 minutes prior to the ceremony.

What type of meal will be served?

Answer

The meal is bruschetta and greek chicken served by Chef's From Away.

Can dietary restrictions be accommodated?

Answer

Yes, please let the Bride and Groom know if there are allergies or dietary restrictions as soon as you are able so we can inform the caterers.

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes, there is a parking lot at both the parish and the lodge.
