Ross and Jessica met at Redford's Tavern on football Sunday. Jessica was the only Raiders fan in a Bronco's bar and Ross had the longest hair. After a little sassy back-and-forth, they exchanged numbers. Ross couldn't work up the nerve to call Jessica but jumped to attention when he ran into her the following week. Placing a friend between them Ross did some quick recon, knowing he intended to woo her proper. After bumping into another pal and having some laughs over beers, Jess and Ross went off on their own and got to know each other. The conversation was fun and easy, and after finding many similar interests, Ross and Jess shared a good night kiss with the promise of Ross returning the next day with the first five collections of the comic book,”Saga” in tow. Since then they have fallen madly in love, had many wild adventures, and danced many a night away.
After almost two years of unfettered love and pure joy, Ross proposed to Jessica. It was the night before she turned 30 (and became an old maid) on what was supposed to be a beautiful bridge, overlooking Denver, and ended up being a construction zone on the corner of Shoshone and 33rd. See folks, again, Ross was very nervous and couldn’t get his, erm, stuff together. After Jessica graciously accepted, Ross proposed a second time in the proper location and got a second, “yes” for good measure.
