11:00 am - 2:00 pm
We will be meeting at the Kelly Island Campground day use area for a picnic and all are welcome to join. This is a big open picnic area right next to the South Fork of the Snake River. Come prepared for a day in the sun and swimming! Chelsea and Ross will be hanging with family and friends as folks trickle into the area. We ask everyone to bring their own food and drinks for this if you are joining and no RSVP is necessary. Please reference the map labeled “Friday Group Activity” in the email sent 8/31 for further location information.
Fri, Sep 13, 2024, 3:00 pm - Sun, Sep 15, 2024, 11:00 am
Everyone has received their lodging assignments - please make sure you have followed the directions specific for your lodging to confirm!
4:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Casual and comfortable
We will be hosting a welcome dinner for everyone in town at the Aspen Grove Inn at their main meeting area. We will be providing burgers, brats, sides, and veggie options. We will also provide some beverages but bringing extra would be appreciated!
7:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Swimwear
After the welcome dinner we will head back over the bridge for a private rental of the Heise Hot Springs! This is just over a mile and it is recommended that folks carpool as the walk along E Heise road is not ideal. If anyone has a larger vehicle and would be open to helping shuttle a few folks please contact Chelsea or Ross. We will be asking for $10 per person for entrance to the pools. There is NO alcohol allowed in the springs but if folks have drinks outside the gates and in their cars that should be OK. If people are subtle about booze inside they probably can't catch us all but that is up to the individual 🙃
9:00 am - 11:45 pm
Mountain festive - look good, feel better, be ready to dance. Have fun with it!
Setup: 10am-2pm Guests arrive: 4-4:30pm Ceremony: 4:30-5pm Cocktail hour / apps: 5-6pm Dinner: 6-8pm Live Band: 8:15 - 11:00pm DJ/Dancing in Barn: 11pm – till morning No food will be provided for Saturday breakfast and lunch so folks will need to plan accordingly. The closest good restaurant to the venue is Farmhouse Table @ 7N Ranch Resort which has both brunch and lunch menus. We could probably use some extra bodies getting things ready for the ceremony and reception site so able hands would be welcome at Snake River Meadow!
4:30 pm - 5:00 pm
Ceremony will be at 4:30 PM sharp. Feel free to arrive anytime after 4 and enjoy a drink and hang out. For those who will be driving to the reception area, please refer to the map labeled “Ceremony and Reception Area” for reference. For those walking, it is advised to bring a light or plan to use a phone for the way home, as there are a couple of sections of poorly lit dirt path. Bring costumes for the late night party if you wish, loose theme of Western Space Disco!
6:00 pm - 11:00 pm
9:00 am - 12:00 pm
We will provide a light breakfast and coffee to help get folks up and moving. We could use some more hands to help with cleanup so if you have the time to stick around for a bit it would be greatly appreciated!
