The Wedding Website of Bridget Lavender and Ross Kruse
Burlington is absolutely lovely in September, which means it’s also very popular in September! We recommend booking accommodations early. On this page we have several suggested hotels to fit various budgets / preferences. Of course, you’re also welcome to do your own research! One great thing about Burlington is the airport, downtown, and the venue are all within 10-15 minutes of each other! Ross and Bridget will be staying downtown and our hotel block is downtown, but all wedding events will be at our venue in Winooski (10 minutes from downtown) so there’s no need to be downtown if that’s not your vibe!

Hotel

Courtyard Burlington Harbor ($$$$)

25 Cherry Street
Burlington, VT 05401

This is where Ross and Bridget will be staying and we would love for any who are able to join us! Right on the water, the location gives you access to the best Burlington has to offer. (Hotel block is linked)

Hotel

Hotel Champlain Burlington by Hilton ($$$$)

60 Battery Street
Burlington, VT 05401

This is right next to the hotel Bridget and Ross are staying at, for those who prefer Hilton!

Hotel

Hilton Garden Inn Burlington Downtown ($$$)

101 Main Street
Burlington, VT 05401

Another downtown option, still walkable to the best parts of Burlington but a little cheaper than those in the heart of downtown.

Hotel

Hampton Inn Colchester ($$)

42 Lower Mountain View Drive
Colchester, VT 05446

Sitting somewhere between the downtown options and the airport options in price, southern Colchester has a few hotels that are near the venue, but away from the hustle and bustle of the other options. Please note this is just one of the options in this area -- we encourage you to look at others around here as well in case there's one that fits your budget and needs more!

Hotel

Homewood Suites by Hilton Burlington ($)

5 Dorset Street
South Burlington, VT 05403

This hotel is closer to the airport, includes an airport shuttle, and is more affordable than the downtown options. There are quite a few hotels in this area that could be good options as well.

Travel Note

Airbnb

Renting an airbnb instead of a hotel is a great option that may be more budget-friendly, depending on your needs! Burlington has some, but not a ton, so we recommend looking and booking early.

Travel Note

VRBO

Like airbnb, VRBO can be a great option in and around Burlington, particularly for larger groups.

Train

Amtrak (Ethan Allen Express)

For those already in the Northeast, or those who love a train adventure, Amtrak is a great way to get to Burlington! The Ethan Allen Express starts in NYC and runs straight to Union Station Burlington is in the heart of downtown Burlington!

Train

Amtrak (Vermonter)

For those already in the Northeast, or those who love a train adventure, Amtrak is a great way to get to Burlington! The Vermonter starts in Washington D.C, but it stops at Essex Junction closer to the airport rather than downtown.

Flight

Burlington International Airport

For those flying, Burlington International Airport is a quick drive from both downtown Burlington and the wedding venue! Many hotels also offer airport shuttles.
