9/15/01 We met through AIM, Jorge decided to take a chance and sent a request. We were chatting for months before we decided to meet in person on my birthday, two days later we went on our first date and the rest is history. AIM was our Match.com #itwasAIMtobe

We were in Cancun and had dinner on the beach, he planned to propose after dinner but it started to rain so we had to run for cover, we finished up our meal just as the rain stopped. He suggested going for a walk on the beach, as we were walking I could only focus on the beautiful stars and that full moon, it was the brightest full moon I've ever seen, so bright it lit up the beach. So as the waves crashed and the Mayan moon lit the night he proposed. It was just us and it was beautiful.
