The Dallas Museum of Art is an art museum located in the Arts District of downtown Dallas, Texas, along Woodall Rodgers Freeway between St. Paul and Harwood. In 1984, the museum moved from its previous location in Fair Park to the Arts District. General Admission is FREE everyday

An exceptional attraction and head-turning new landmark for Dallas, the Perot Museum of Nature (2012) has 11 permanent exhibit halls on five floors. You can experience an earthquake, make music in a sound studio, build your own robot, smell the beeswax of the Blackland Prairie, and take a whirlwind trip around Dallas in miniature. Museum general admission ticket prices are $17 for adults (18-64), $11 for youth (2-17), $12 for seniors (65+), and free for children under 2.

Klyde Warren Park is a 5.2-acre public park in Downtown Dallas, Texas. The park is over the Woodall Rodgers Freeway, and opened in 2012. It is named for Klyde Warren, the young son of billionaire Kelcy Warren who donated $10 million to the development of the park.

In the West End Historic District, this aquarium in a reworked warehouse from 1924 has more than just fish. Mundo Maya keeps ocelots, American flamingos and a variety of colourful passerine birds and owls to go with its vibrant angelfish and axolotls. This is a wonderful place for the family to visit and see some animals. The Cenote Exhibit‘s real-time Shark Cam shows who’s swimming by: Groupers, Lionfish and, of course, Sharks!
