Flight

Kalamata Flights

Kalamata is the nearest airport, but please note flights are less regular and tend not to run on Fridays. The drive from Kalamata is 1hr50 minutes and if you take the scenic coastal route, there are lovely beaches and tavernas to stop at along the way.

Athens Flights

Athens has very regular flights. The drive down to Areopoli takes about 3 hours depending on your speed & stops, but the roads are modern and generally traffic-free.

Travel Note

Car Hire

We do recommend hiring a car from the airport so you can explore the Mani region during your stay. Once in the Areopoli area for the wedding events, you won't need to drive for more than 10 minutes to get about.
