When do I need to RSVP by?

How long should I come to Greece for?
Answer
We know that most guests will need to plan around busy jobs, so staying Thursday/Friday - Sunday/Monday morning is a good option for those with limited leave. If you are looking to plan a holiday around the wedding, we recommend staying on after and enjoying all Mani has to offer, or travelling onto the Greek islands via Athens.

Which airport should I fly to?
Answer
The closest airport is Kalamata (1hr50 drive), from which you can either take the scenic coastal route or down the toll roads. Flights to and from Kalamata are less regular than Athens. Athens is a 3 hour drive on the toll roads, which are modern and generally free of traffic.

Do I need to hire a car?
Answer
We strongly recommend hiring a car for your stay so you can make the most of your trip and explore the local area. Car hire is cheap in Greece and taxis are a bit more unreliable.

Where is the best place to stay?
Answer
There are lots of hotels near to Aria estate, in the Neo Itilo bay, Limeni and Areopoli. Please check the logistics page for a list of the best.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
September is generally warm and pleasant, with a nice breeze in the evenings. Aria Estate is on the top of a hill overlooking the sea, so do be prepared for wind! The ceremony and reception will be outside, so in the eventuality of rain we will prepare necessary cover.

Can I bring my kids?
Answer
Unfortunately, we cannot host any children at our wedding. We appreciate your understanding.

Is there parking at the venue?
Answer
There is parking at the venue and you are free to park on the road up to the estate too. We recommend booking taxis to and from the ceremony, which we or your hotel can help you with.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Answer
Please arrive at Aria Estate 1 hour before the ceremony starts.

Will my dietary requirement be catered for?
Answer
Please let us know of your dietary requirements and our caterers will do their best to accommodate. We have vegetarian and GF options planned, but the Greeks do tend to go hard on meat, dairy and gluten.

Will there be an open bar?

What time will the reception end?
Answer
The wedding party will carry on until very late, so when you sort transport back is up to you!

Are there taxis in the area?
Answer
Don't expect Uber-level services, but taxis can be booked through your hotel.

How will we get to and from Thursday night drinks?
Answer
We will be organising a shuttle bus to and from Areopoli. Please let us know where you are staying so we can plan route and timings.
