Our Story
Like many millennials before, Sean and Rosie met on Hinge in 2022. Our first date was to the Lincoln Park Zoo fall fest, where we enjoyed the sights and shared some laughs on a well-hidden, but worth the search ferris wheel. This date turned into hours of conversation over drinks, and the rest is history.
Things got really serious when we introduced Rosie’s cat, Goose to Sean’s dog, Murphy. Sparks didn’t fly for the pets as they did for us, but they’ve learned to coexist and share their favorite window seat.
From cooking meals together to exploring new destinations, we realized we make a great team. Some of our favorite adventures include a New Year’s trip to Copenhagen and a hiking trip to Mammoth Cave. The highlight of our adventures came last summer, when Sean proposed on a lakeside hike near home.
This fall, we’re taking our travels to the next level to tie the knot in a private ceremony in New Zealand, but we can’t wait to celebrate with our favorite people back in Chicago!
