Lauren and Heather have been friends since meeting in kindergarten. Their friendship dynamics could be described as Yin and Yang as their opposites complement. Heather’s mother often referred to Lauren as “the second daughter she never had” as the two went everywhere together. They continue to adventure through life, watching each other grow up, while maintaining their close bond.
Groomsman
Evan and Tyler met while working at the Detroit Red Wings in 2019. Immediately bonding over their love of Detroit sports, the two began singing country music duets over some pints of Miller Lite in basements. They love to golf together even though Tyler is not very good, and they attended a Morgan Wallen concert together. They also share a love of Michigan football where they’ve attended games together and watched the 2023 Rose Bowl win against Bama.
Bridesmaid
Kylie and Heather met in the FAR program at Stryker. After moving to Portage, they had the chance to get to know each other better. Realizing how similar they were, both at work and in their relationships, they quickly became close friends. Kylie and Heather have a 2026 goal of running one 5K together every month and train together often.
Groomsman
Tyler and Nick have known each other since high school. They became friends when they discovered their phone numbers were one digit apart. Through their common interests of Michigan football and baseball bonded them for a lifetime. Tyler and Nick made some priceless memories attending Michigan tailgates and football games and playing baseball on the Michigan Expos together. They’ve also made some great memories going up to Nick and Nicole’s family cottage in Port Sanilac where the dogs, (Wrigley, Jax, and Jameson) love to play fetch on their property while going swimming.
Bridesmaid
Nicole and Heather became friends four years ago. The first time Heather was invited to Nicole's house, Nicole hosted a slip and slide party in the backyard. Heather was bewildered by what fun looks like. Nicole soon became someone Heather could rely on for a fun time, but also someone she looks up to for creating a warm and welcoming home.
Groomsman
Ian and Tyler became friends playing travel baseball on the Michigan Longhorns and the St. Clair Shores Mariners. Currently they love to golf and play baseball on the Michigan Expos. On top of baseball, they’ve attended the Faster Horses music festival and a Morgan Wallen Concert along with a few trips to Nashville. Tyler stood in Ian and Amy’s wedding last September.
Bridesmaid
One day, while Heather arrived at the baseball diamond to watch Tyler play, book in hand, she stumbled upon Brynn. Neither were originally sure they wanted to speak to each other, to avoid awkwardness if they didn't hit it off, but both took the risk anyway. Realizing that both of them were dating a Tyler, graduated from MSU in 2021, and going to be spending a lot of time together watching even more baseball, Brynn became a close weekly confidant of Heather.
Groomsman
Tyler and Matt met in college at Northwood University. They were in the same fraternity together and became roommates their senior years. They participated in various fraternity shenanigans but also enjoyed helping out the community during Northwood’s Go Make a Difference day (GoMad) and Matt helped Tyler volunteer at AuCaDo animal rescue where Tyler adopted Wrigley.
Bridesmaid
As the only sibling of the groom, Eryn has followed along on Heather and Tyler's relationship since the beginning. Being the first family member that Heather met, to visiting them out in New Jersey, various holidays, Heather and Eryn have been able to develop a friendship.
Groomsman
Tyler and Ricky attended high school together but became close after they both graduated. They celebrated Ricky’s 21st birthday with a trip to Las Vegas and Los Angeles where they witnessed the Cubs win the World Series while at a Clippers game. They’ve made countless memories together through random trips to Canada, but Ricky is always down for a spontaneous adventure up to visit Tyler in college, or to come visit Tyler and Heather in New Jersey
Bridesmaid
Heather and Iliana became friends while living in New Jersey. Originally brought together by their significant others, one night, Heather and Iliana developed their own friendship while spontaneously baking a cake after a night out. Heather was honored to stand in Iliana’s wedding during 2024 and maintain a friendship after moving back to Michigan.
